My 1956 Chevrolet Suburban
Carryall Signal Corps Communications Vehicle—From
Fort Riley Kansas
This
1956 Suburban was delivered to the US Army in August
of 1956. It was in active duty until 1972 when
it was sold at government auction to a Volunteer
Fire Department in Dorrance Kansas. It was used
as a firefighting vehicle until I bought it in
1998. I had bought it sight unseen and had it
shipped to my home in Orlando. When I found the
Military
markings and government Nomenclature data tag,
I decided to restore it back to original US Army.

THIS
IS NOT A GOVERNMENT SITE. IT IS JUST MY WAY SAYING

U.S. ARMY SIGNAL CORPS, PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE. |
