This 1956 Suburban was delivered to the US Army in August of 1956. It was in active duty until 1972 when it was sold at government auction to a Volunteer Fire Department in Dorrance Kansas. It was used as a firefighting vehicle until I bought it in 1998. I had bought it sight unseen and had it shipped to my home in Orlando. When I found the Military markings and government Nomenclature data tag, I decided to restore it back to original US Army. Click here to see the restoration photos.
